Open Access Policy

The Rajasthan Medical Journal (RMJ) is committed to the principles of Open Access. All articles published in RMJ are freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without any subscription or access fees. We believe that removing barriers to accessing scientific research promotes the dissemination of knowledge, accelerates discovery, and facilitates innovation in the medical and scientific community.

Definition of Open Access

An Open Access publication is one that meets the following criteria:
  • The author(s) and copyright holder(s) grant all users a free, irrevocable, worldwide, and perpetual right of access to the published work. This includes a license to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself, provided proper attribution of authorship is given.
  • A complete version of the work, including all supplementary materials and metadata, is deposited in a trusted digital repository immediately upon publication. This ensures long-term digital preservation and unrestricted public access.

Our Open Access Commitment

  • All articles published in The Rajasthan Medical Journal are peer-reviewed and made available under Open Access immediately upon publication, without embargo.
  • Full-text access to all articles is available in without registration or payment.
  • All published content, including data, graphics, and supplementary materials, may be linked to, shared, or indexed by search engines, academic databases, repositories, websites, blogs, and text/data mining applications.
  • Users are free to reuse any content provided proper citation of the original source and compliance with the licensing terms.

All articles in The Rajasthan Medical Journal are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).
